Day #3 – No I haven’t fallen off the wagon already

10 mins before midnight I finally get around to posting. The posts will get more verbose and filled with technical and fitness type content soon. I am just really working hard to get some side projects wrapped up. Also in 10 more minutes I will have went an entire month without pop/soda …yay me….. Also I have stuck to no deep fried foods for the last few days and haven’t died thus far. It figures that one of my favorite places to grab lunch “The Shnitz Deli” starts offering french fries as a side the week I decide to part ways with my dearly beloved strings of greasy potatoes. Caloric intake hasn’t been my focus in “giving up” certain foods/types. I have a very strong habit forming personality however and this is the first step in being able to take a serious look at what I am putting into my body. The more crap I can eliminate and replace with healthier alternatives the easier it is going to be to come up with a meal plan that works for me and my schedule. I think I am ranting now…and I only have five minutes to get this posted. Pardon any typos as I’m not going to read through it again :-P Goodnight world…

  1. It’s ok, I got to like 11pm while reading my WCF book. First I didn’t have IIS installed, and then since that wasn’t installed when I dropped all the WCF junk on, a bunch of stuff didn’t get run. So I couldn’t run the stupid example. BLAH! Took me like a few hours just to figure out stupid IIS. And I don’t know about you but it bugs me to have the TV on when I am reading, and Sarah went through 3 movies. I also hate being alone… so it took me like 5 hours for one chapter. I think after this I might do 30 days of working on the house and blog about that LOL! My office must be reclaimed! To do that I must “get my build on”… and finish those stupid rooms. I need to mud, carpet and do the trimming and then we’re done with 2 rooms. Then I have my office again!

  2. Congrats on the one month…I’ve been doing the same for awhile now, it’s really great to get that crap out of your system. Also, I cut out fast food pretty much…and I will tell you, if you go back…your body doesn’t like the crap you are trying to give it.
